Downward revision in Service Charges for CBS Operations with immediate effect.

Issue of duplicate pass book Rs. 50/- per Duplicate pass book with latest balance only. Charges for previous entries (if required) Rs. 50/- per ledger page or part thereof.

Mode of calculation of minimum balance If balance on any day during the calendar month remains below the stipulated minimum balance then it is reckoned as balance below minimum balance for the entire month which will attract service charges.

4) FOREIGN EXCHANGE REMITTANCE

Remittance Outward On all outward remittances
a) Sundry Remittance – Rs100 upto Rs.10,000/- and Rs.200 above Rs.10,000/-

b) Advance Remittances against imports (additional charges equivalent to 50% of the following are recoverable).
  • i. On each bill drawn in foreign currency, on which the bank earns exchange benefit. -- @ 0.25% with a minimum of Rs.500. Max Rs.50,000

  • ii. On each bill drawn in Rupees and on each bill drawn in foreign currency on which the bank does not earn exchange benefit. --- @ 0.35% with a minimum of Rs.500 Max Rs70,000/-

In case of advance remittance, for individual transactions, concession is extended on the incremental value as under

up to Rs.1/- crore - Normal Charges
Above Rs. 1/- crore up to 3/- cores- 50% over & above normal charges upto Rs.1/- crore.
Above Rs.3/- crores up to Rs.5/- crores - 25% over & above normal charges upto Rs.3/- crores.
Above Rs.5/- crores and above - 12.5% over & above normal charges up to Rs.5/- crores.

c) Payment of foreign currency draft by the drawee bank by issuing their own draft in the same currency in favour of the beneficiary bank with whom the relative foreign currency amount is to be deposited in a FCNR Account. -- A service charge for the issue of their own draft @ 0.10% with a minimum of Rs.200/-

d) EEFC Accounts
Where the bank effects outward remittance to the debit of EEFC account of the customer commission payable : --0.10% with a minimum of USD 10 and maximum of USD 50 or its rupee equivalent.

Remittance Inward

a) Commission in respect of each clean payment effected under instructions from a foreign correspondent (inward remittance)

8) Downward revision in Service Charges for CBS Operations with immediate effect.

NOTICE TO CUSTOMERS OF CBS BRANCHES

Dear Customers,
Our esteemed customers are hereby informed that the bank has reviewed the CBS operation Inter-SOL charges {for availing facilities at Non-base CBS branches} downward as under with immediate effect:

(1) Cash Deposit
Nature of CBS Branch Charges Exclusive of Service Tax
Out-station Non base branches (i.e. CBS branches outside clearing area including 8.00 am to 8.00 pm branches) Cash deposit Rs.25000/- per day per account is free of charges, thereafter in excess of Rs.25000/-, service charges will be @ Rs.2/- per thousand or part thereof.

For Baroda Premium Current Account:Cash deposit Rs.50000/- per day per account is free of charges, thereafter in excess of Rs.50000/-, service charges will be @ Rs.2/- per thousand or part thereof.

For Baroda Premium Current A/C- Privilege:
Cash deposit Rs.100000/- per day per account is free of charges, thereafter in excess of Rs.100000/-, service charges will be @ Rs.2/- per thousand or part thereof.
Local Non-base-branches (i.e. CBS branches in same clearing area including 8.00 am to 8.00 pm branches) There will be 'NIL' CBS operation Inter-SOL charges in respect of any amount / any number of cash deposit per day per account, however, Cash Handling Charge (as applicable to base branch) at the specified rate will be levied by the Local non-base branches- Please see Note below.

It may please be noted that only one type of charges, if any, will be levied i.e either CBS operation Inter-SOL charges (for availing facilities at outstation Non-base CBS branches) or Cash Handling Charge

For Baroda Premium Current Account and Baroda Premium Current A/C- Privilege:

NOTE:-

  • Cash Handling charges : If cash deposit amount (at base branch or local Non-base CBS branches) is beyond Rs.1,00,000/- per day in SB accounts and beyond Rs.50000/- in other accounts, cash handling charges @ Rs.25/- per Rs.50,000 and part thereof will be recovered on the excess amount deposited.
  • Cash Handling charges (If cash is deposited in local non-base CBS branches providing 8.00 am to 8.00 pm service):

NOTE:-

  • The cash receipt would be accepted till 7 p.m. (against 8 pm) for Savings Bank Accounts up to free limit of Rs.1 lac per account. Beyond this free limit, cash will be accepted with the payment of existing rate of cash handling charges @ Rs.25/- per Rs.50,000/-.
  • The cash would be accepted till 4.00 p.m. (against 8 pm at present) for accounts other than Savings Bank Accounts up to free limit of Rs.50,000/- per account. Beyond this free limit, cash may be accepted up to 4 p.m. with the payment of existing rate of cash handling charges @ Rs.25/- per Rs.50,000/-. After 4 p.m., cash handling charges will be recovered at the rate of @ Rs.50/- per Rs.50,000/- without any free limit during 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

(2) Cash Withdrawal
Nature of CBS Branch Charges Exclusive of Service Tax
Local Non-base-branches (i.e. CBS branches in same clearing area) Free of charge in respect of any amount / any number of cash withdrawals per day per account.
Out-station Non base branches (i.e. CBS branches outside clearing area) Cash withdrawal up to Rs.25000/- per day per account is free of charges, thereafter in excess of Rs.25000/-, service charges will be levied @ Rs.2/- per thousand or part thereof.

For Baroda Premium Current Account:
First Two Cash withdrawal of any amount per account per calendar month is free of charges, thereafter each cash withdrawal per day per account in that calendar month in excess of Rs.25000/-, service charges will be @ Rs.2/- per thousand or part thereof.

For Baroda Premium Current A/C- Privilege:
First Three Cash withdrawal of any amount per account per calendar month is free of charges, thereafter each cash withdrawal per day per account in that calendar month in excess of Rs.25000/-, service charges will be @ Rs.2/- per thousand or part thereof.

(3) Transfer of funds
Transfer of funds between our CBS branches by customers using Baroda Connect is already free upto stipulated daily/weekly/monthly/yearly limits.

In addition to above, transfer of funds through cheque amongst the customers of CBS branches will as under:

  • Funds transfer through payment of cheque drawn on our outstation CBS branches received through clearing.
Free of charge up to Rs.25000/- per day per account, thereafter in excess of Rs.25000/-, service charges will be levied @ Rs.1.00 per thousand or part thereof - Minimum of Rs.25/- & Maximum Rs.2500/-.

For Baroda Premium Current A/C, Baroda Premium Current A/C- Privilege, Super Savings Bank A/C & Centenary Savings Bank A/C: Free of charge - Any amount.

(1) : Collection Of Cheque: (with effect from 01.10.2008)
Nature of CBS Branch Service Charges (Exclusive of Service tax) Existing
Collection of local cheques through clearing by local non-base branches. Free of charge.

Cheque collected through outstation non base branches drawn on other Banks within clearing area of that centre.

(5) New Addition Of At Par Facility Of Collection Of Cheque & Transfer Of Funds: (with effect from 01.11.2008)

The current account holders maintaining quarterly average balance of Rs.75,000/- for the last two completed quarters will be provided At Par facility of collection of cheque & transfer of funds.

For this purpose, QAB of last two completed quarters will be considered and will be reviewed every quarter. In case, the customer has not maintained QAB for the last two quarters, the facility will be withdrawn.
